BHS Track & Field Alumni: remember to sign up for Alumni Recognition this Wednesday, March 11!

The SCBDA Region 6 Honor Band Clinics were held this past weekend, and several CCSD students were selected for the honor of participation. These students had previously auditioned in January and were chosen for ensembles based on the results of those auditions.
All students rehearsed at Spartanburg High School throughout the day on Friday and most of Saturday morning. They performed a concert Saturday afternoon.
Join CCSD in congratulating these talented musicians and celebrating their musical accomplishments!

Congratulations to JD Bonner & Taylor Tessner on being selected to participate in the Upstate All-Star game! 🐾 🏀
JD and Taylor were among the top 30 boys and girls players chosen in the Upstate of South Carolina! The game will be played on March 14 at Wofford College. Girls- 4pm, Boys- 5:30pm.

Cherokee County School District is pleased to announce that the Winterguards from Blacksburg and Gaffney High Schools earned second place finishes in their respective classes at the Carolina Winter Ensembles Association (CWEA) competition on Saturday, February 28th. Blacksburg High School's Winterguard placed 2nd in Scholastic AAA, and Gaffney High School's Winterguard placed 2nd in Scholastic Regional AA.

The SCHSL has lifted the temporary postseason shutdown. The BHS varsity wrestling team will now travel to Liberty on Thursday, Feb. 5 for the first and second rounds of the class 2A playoffs as the 11th seed.
